YOGA
With Chloe Kourga
Nike Well Trainer, Chloe, led the girls and their caregivers through a calming 30-minute yoga session, designed to be both empowering and accessible. The session aimed to highlight the diverse benefits of yoga beyond just physical stretching.
Chloe demonstrated how yoga can help calm the mind, improve focus, and even relieve discomfort such as menstrual cramps. By fostering a gentle approach to movement, the session encouraged participants to listen to their bodies and practice self-compassion.
After the guests had released some energy in their class, we harnessed their movement motivation with an informal chat with ex-footballer Alex Bailess, and current Professional Footballer, Crystal Palace’s Josie Green.
They hosted a Q&A to discuss their own experiences in sports as women. They then encouraged the girls to ask and answer questions, and by opening up the conversation it allowed the girls to feel more comfortable when talking about important topics.

BRA FITTINGS
With Emma from Nike Town London
Emma, a staff member from Nike Town London and a bra educator, introduced herself and informed the girls that she would be offering a bra fitting service. The setup created a comfortable atmosphere, with all the girls visiting Emma for either a bra fitting or a conversation about bras. She successfully provided them with the information and tools they needed to to be able to comfortably do this at home.
CREATIVE AND MENSTRUAL
WITH HEY GIRLS UK
All of the guests ended the day by taking part in a creative session, customising a pair of socks and a sanitary pouch through tie-dye. This was then an opportunity for the Hey Girls community to introduce themselves and start the conversation around menstrual cycles and the sanitary products available.
From this, all attendees received a leaflet that explains in detail each stage of a period and ways they can elavate the pain through exercise.
